HAH! IN YO FACE KUTARAGI!!!!
By Daniel Terdiman
Sony and PlayStation creator Ken Kutaragi made a joint statement Thursday saying Kutaragi would retire from his position as chairman and group CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment as of the company's next shareholders meeting on June 19, and that he has "been considering this decision for some time."

That'll teach him not to mess with the customers!
All play and no work made Kenny a dull boy.
Again I'd like to point out something that the media don't cover enough. We hear too much about the Blu-Ray player. This is something that is not mentioned: The BR player came too early in this age. It's like releasing a DVD player in 1984; it's expensive, not everybody has the means, and most movies are on the previous format. If the Playstation 3 had waited for the Playstation 4 to have a BR player in about 5 years time, then it would have been a better thing.
After all, the PS2's DVD player came just at the right moment when DVD players were growing in popularity.
Now another thing that the media don't cover a lot, it's that Kutaragi was arrogant. He thought that now that his company was Number 1 he could do whatever he wanted and ignore people's complaints and win because of his "We're Sony, bitch!" attitude. BluRay is not the only reason, and it's not really the biggest reason. BR is actually good, just premature.
I illustrated this earlier on, when the PS3 was released in Europe, and also for my New Year insults, with an article detailing how Sony ignored game developer's proposals for their exclusive games. That is why now Devil May Cry 4, or Assassin's Creed will be multi-platform. Apparently Metal Gear Solid 4 will stay on the PS3, yay!
Now it's all on Kazuo Hirai, he better do it well and learn from the past, unlike some people I know.
